Hello!
Hi! I’m Emily, a natural light outdoor portrait photographer specializing in families and couples (traditional or not) in Ventura and Los Angeles counties. I’m a SoCal native, but more of a socks-with- sandals-pacific- northwest kind of girl. I feel like the coolest person in the world, because I get to live here, in beautiful Thousand Oaks, and I have the sweetest job in the world.
I love bright colors, my poodle, Waffles, telling exaggerated, elaborate, hilarious stories, and singing along to 90s music while editing your awesome photos. I’m always excited to learn new things, make new friends, and
travel as often as I can. Most of all, I love to document life as it is, in this beautiful California sun.
Why do I do this? Because life is beautiful and extremely, extremely precious. My friends and family are the most important thing to me in the world, and I firmly believe life needs to be documented and turned into tangible heirloom works of art.
My goal is to capture you and your loved ones in such a way that you can cherish your photos for life. Please let me know if you have suggestions for what kind of images you would love to create, but don’t worry if you don’t – I know how to take charge and create the moments for you, too.
I can almost guarantee I will make you cry or pee your pants from laughter, but don’t worry - I also love capturing the sweet candid moments that can never be recreated. I would be delighted to meet you, become friends, document you and your loved ones, laugh (of course), and decorate your walls with heirloom quality artwork. Let’s do this thing!
